this is music for headphones.

for briefly pausing that fucked-up-ness of the world.

music speaking to the part of you that misses being a child.

the room we lived in

music for those moody on your own moments.

when you miss something, but can’t explain exactly what.

and music for those dancing on you own moments.

for when those small things create feelings larger than yourself.

the music was not made with any of these purposes in mind, but made by velvy, simply for the sake of making something, first of all, for themselves.

asbjørn and laura of velvy, not thinking what should we do, nor what can we do, but instead thinking about what we want to do – and that being in the almost reckless, childish kind of way.

instead of being experimental it is playful.

making this music intuitively relatable, just being on it’s own terms.

and the music accidentally being these catchy pop songs, filled to the brim with your emotions – what a happy accident that is.
