consisting of two electric guitars and drums, the music of kakao intens illustrates the intersection of sound-oriented exploration and dynamic musical interplay; intertwining extended instrumental praxis with a brash and insisting language.

based on a fascination of sound. abstracting their instruments to the point of making them super concrete. looking at a guitar, without seeing pentatonic scales, jimi hendrix riffs or it could happen to you, but instead seeing the physical attributes of the instrument. the pickups, the strings, the wood, small metal pieces, and using those very concrete elements to create sound.

but still with some roots in popular music, somehow being kept intact through all this. being deeply in love with outkast, metallica, big thief, leaves behind some sort of structure, making the music of kakao intens weirdly dancable.
